The Flick Factory had its first incarnation in 1990 when Graeme Holmes and Jon Rowlands left Bristol University and started the company to make ultra stupidly low budget pop promos and commercials.

After a year or so of surprising commercial success;
(five pop promos, seven commercials,
one corporate)
“certain tensions” caused Jon to leave the partnership and make his own way in the world. To date he probably hasn’t regretted the move going on to produce award winning shows for Alexei Sayle and several Comic Reliefs.

The all new Flick Factory has flickered back into life now with several short films, sketches and comedy shows.

New in 2008: CrashPad: The Flick Factory produced the "stand up sitcom" 'CrashPad' between January and April this year at the Arts Theatre in London. It is now in a delicious state of repose, but may be revived at a future date.

Many thanks to all who contributed, took part in and actually "audienced" [yes, it's now a verb] this comedy phenomenon.
